In addition, PPR is mandatory for Y\/Z flight plans to\/from LSZS. For detailed information, please refer to the documents <strong>Briefing WEF 2026 IFR<\/strong> and <strong>AIP-SUP WEF 008\/2025<\/strong> (see links below).<\/p><p>PPR requests are processed by Engadin Airport. Please send the completed <strong>PPR Request\/Confirmation<\/strong>\u00a0form (last page of the briefing) together with the handling request to our handling office at <a href=\"mailto:handling@engadin-airport.ch\">handling@engadin-airport.ch.<\/a><\/p><p>The PPR number provided with the confirmation must be entered in field 18 of the flight plan. A separate report to the Air Force PPR office is not required for this. Radio contact with MIL RADAR is also not necessary. No ICAO flight plan is required for these flights.<\/p><p><strong>Training flights<\/strong><br \/>According to VFR SUP, a <strong>flight instructor (FI)<\/strong> must be on board for training flights. <strong>Solo flights <\/strong>by flight students are<strong> not permitted<\/strong>.<\/p><p><strong>VFR flights in the region (e.g. scenic flights)<\/strong><br \/>VFR flights within the region must be applied for at the <strong>PPR office.<\/strong> Both the aircraft and the pilot must be accredited in accordance with VFR SUP. Where possible, radio contact must be established with MIL RADAR.<\/p><p><strong>VFR flights to\/from LSZS on published routes<\/strong><br \/>These flights are subject to accreditation, authorisation and ICAO flight plan requirements in accordance with VFR SUP.<\/p><p><strong>Note on PPR authorisations<\/strong><br \/>A PPR number issued for Samedan (LSZS) does not automatically constitute authorisation to fly the LS-R 90.
