Besides EMS-Chemie, Engadin Airport is the only business in Grisons to have its own in-house fire brigade. With its state-of-the-art firefighting vehicle, a new acquisition in December 2007, the airport fire brigade is extremely well equipped for all eventualities. But there is no substitute for thorough training and regular exercices. At six official fire drills per year airport fire crew exercices to deal with accidents.
